I undertake to pay the monthly amount of 1 percent of my gross salary up to the respective maximum contribution limit to the GDBA.

In the case of freelance/self-employed work, the monthly contribution is calculated from the average of the annual income; it amounts to at least € 20.00.

The monthly contribution is reduced to € 7.00 (minimum contribution)

in the event of unemployment,
if the income is supplemented with a citizen's allowance (top-up)
if you are receiving a reduced earning capacity, occupational disability or old-age pension and are not involved at the same time,
during parental leave and
for career starters in the first year after training
in cases of particular hardship upon written application by the member following a decision by the Finance and Budget Committee
For

Students,
Students under the age of thirty during their first pre-vocational studies,
Trainees under the age of thirty during their first pre-vocational training,
volunteers (especially FSJ, FÖJ) under the age of thirty
are eligible for non-contributory membership without entitlement to legal protection on presentation of a valid school, study, trainee or voluntary service certificate. After completion of training or studies, membership is automatically switched to the reduced fee of € 7.

The punctual payment of contributions in the amount corresponding to income is one of the statutory obligations and is, among other things, a prerequisite for the granting of legal protection. Therefore, the head office must be informed immediately of any change in gross salary in order to adjust the membership fee. I hereby confirm that I have taken note of the statutes.
